S-band, X-band, L-band Frequency Converters
Main Applications
These Frequency Converters are currently deployed within the Deep Space Network of Space Agencies for TT&C and communications with Deep Space Spacecrafts.
They were provided to ESA for Mars Express, Venus Express and Rosetta missions.
In the uplink they ensure the translation of VHF signals to S-band or X-band; frequencies used for transmitting command signals to the satellites. Vice versa in downlink to send observation information acquired to the ground stations.
